In December 2022, Jane Doe, a 29-year-old independent music artist, attended a party hosted by Sean Combs in Manhattan, New York. After declining drugs offered by staff, she consumed a glass of wine and later spoke with Combs about her career. He lured her to his office under the pretense of discussing her music, where she became disoriented, indicating she was drugged with GHB. Combs then raped and sexually assaulted her, leaving her unable to resist. She awoke at 6:00 AM with blood, bruising, and signs of restraint, fled in borrowed clothes, and continues to suffer emotional distress.
