Doe v. Combs et al

On July 4, 2004, Jane Doe, a 17-year-old model from Texas, attended a modeling gig in Manhattan and was later recruited by two men in a dark SUV who gave her a flyer for a party. She and a friend were driven to Sean Combs’ lavish Fourth of July party at his Hamptons estate, where staff confiscated her purse and phone. After consuming a drink laced with drugs (suspected GHB/ecstasy), she became disoriented, passed out on a couch, and awoke with missing underwear and pain indicating sexual assault, later confirmed when Combs and his bodyguards threatened her life if she spoke out. Coerced into silence, she was escorted to the Hedges Inn alone, suffering lasting trauma including PTSD, depression, and anxiety.

Plaintiff seeks: (a) compensatory damages for physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, anxiety, humiliation, pain and suffering, family and social disruption, and other harms, in an amount to be determined at trial; (b) punitive damages in an amount to be determined at trial; (c) attorneys’ fees and costs under applicable statutes; (d) pre- and post-judgment interest on damages, fees, and costs; (e) attachment of Defendants’ real property and assets in New York per Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 64; and (f) any other relief the Court deems just and proper.
