Jane Doe v. Sean Combs et al

From the 1980s through the 1990s, Jane Doe was active in New York City’s hip-hop scene as a dancer and video performer, frequently encountering Sean Combs at industry events and parties. On multiple occasions, these interactions turned violent, with two specific sexual assaults occurring in New York. In the 1990s, at a private 'shadow party' on 28th Street and Eighth Avenue, Combs prevented Doe from leaving, drugged her, and forced her into group sexual acts with him and others under threat of violence. On a second occasion in the late 1990s, at a party at the Limelight nightclub, Combs intervened in a dispute between Doe and her boyfriend (his security guard), detained her, and later took her to the Trump Hotel penthouse in Manhattan. There, the guard physically and sexually assaulted her while Combs watched, and both she and a friend were forced to take drugs (believed to be ecstasy) and participate in unwanted group sex, unable to leave until hours later.

Plaintiff seeks compensatory damages for physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, anxiety, humiliation, pain and suffering, and other harms; punitive damages; attorneys’ fees and costs; pre- and post-judgment interest; and any other relief deemed just by the court.
