John Doe v. Sean Combs et al

In the summer of 2012, John Doe, a 17-year-old minor from Indiana, visited New York City to see his brother and friends. Staying in SoHo, he paid a bouncer $100 to enter a well-known nightclub. Inside, Doe was invited to a private table area, eventually joining Sean Combs’ table with about twelve people, including entourage members and guests. Combs and his group gave Doe shots of Ciroc vodka. After Combs whispered to an entourage member and left, Doe was firmly directed to a back room where drugs and escorts were present. Combs handed Doe another shot, and they discussed entertainment topics. Doe soon felt hazy and disoriented, realizing his drinks were spiked (likely with GHB), causing him to lose consciousness intermittently. Combs anally raped Doe in the back room while Doe was defenseless. Doe awoke the next morning at his brother’s apartment, experiencing anal pain, and has since suffered nightmares, shame, and emotional torment, fearing to report due to Combs’ influence and his own embarrassment.

Plaintiff seeks compensatory damages for physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, anxiety, humiliation, pain and suffering, and other harms; punitive damages; attorneys’ fees and costs; pre- and post-judgment interest; attachment of Defendants’ New York property/assets under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 64; and any other relief deemed just by the court.
