John Doe v. Sean Combs et al

In late October 2022, John Doe, a young musician, traveled to Los Angeles to perform music. On November 4, 2022, while performing on the street near a nightclub, Doe was approached by a Bad Boy Records scout who praised his talent and offered a chance to meet Sean Combs at an exclusive birthday party. A driver picked Doe up in a black Cadillac Escalade and took him to a private home. There, Combs greeted Doe, gave him a drink, and discussed his music career, promising a recording contract. After feeling drowsy and realizing he was drugged (likely with GHB), Doe was led to a bedroom under the pretense of seeing jewelry. Combs propositioned Doe sexually, and despite Doe's refusal, forcibly orally and anally raped him after pressuring him with career promises. Doe was left incapacitated, received an IV the next morning, and was dropped off at the nightclub. The assault caused pain, anguish, and shame, and Doe did not report it due to Combs’ influence and his own embarrassment.

Plaintiff seeks compensatory damages for physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, anxiety, humiliation, pain and suffering, and other harms; special damages; punitive damages; attorneys’ fees and costs; pre- and post-judgment interest; attachment of Defendants’ New York property/assets under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 64; and any other relief deemed just by the court.
