Jane Doe v. Sean Combs et al

In March 1998, Plaintiff Jane Doe and a friend attended a party at Justin's, Sean Combs' restaurant in Manhattan, honoring Notorious B.I.G. During the event, Doe flirted with a professional basketball player, Athlete A, exchanging drinks and later kissing in a restroom. Sean Combs interrupted, barging in and angrily demanding sexual acts from Doe. When she refused, Combs became violent, grabbing her, shoving her against the sink, and pinning her against a mirror while shouting threats. Athlete A intervened, stopping Combs, allowing Doe to escape. Humiliated, Doe armed herself with a cleaning implement for defense. Combs then had an associate douse her with champagne, escalating the confrontation. Security and Athlete A escorted her out via a back exit, after which she left, deeply traumatized.

Compensatory damages for physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, anxiety, humiliation, pain and suffering, and other harms; punitive damages; attorneys' fees and costs; pre- and post-judgment interest; attachment of Defendants' real property and assets in New York; and other relief deemed just and proper.
