John Doe v. Sean Combs et al

In the summer of 2005, 10-year-old John Doe, an aspiring actor and rapper from Los Angeles, traveled with his parents to New York City to advance his career, staying near Madison Square Garden. An industry consultant arranged an 'audition' with Sean Combs, who insisted on meeting Doe alone at a nearby hotel. Left by the consultant, Doe rapped for Combs, who praised him and asked what he’d do to be a star, to which Doe said 'anything.' Combs or his agents gave Doe a drug-laced soda (suspected GHB/ecstasy), causing him to feel odd. Combs then pushed Doe down, exposed himself, and forced his penis into Doe’s mouth despite resistance. Doe lost consciousness, awoke with undone pants and anal pain, and was threatened by Combs not to tell anyone or his parents would be harmed. The consultant returned, noting Doe’s distress, but he only asked for his parents. Fearing repercussions, Doe and his family did not report the assault, leaving him with lasting trauma.

Compensatory damages for physical injuries, emotional distress, psychological harm, anxiety, humiliation, pain and suffering, and other harms; punitive damages; attorneys' fees and costs; pre- and post-judgment interest; attachment of Defendants' real property and assets in New York; and other relief deemed just and proper.
