In about 2006, Plaintiff John Doe began working for Sean Combs, running errands as Combs acted as CEO of Bad Boy Records. In February 2020, Doe arranged a meeting via Combs’s assistant at the InterContinental New York Times Square hotel suite to discuss unpaid job payments. Arriving around 8 P.M., Doe found Combs alone after security left. During their business talk, Combs prepared alcoholic drinks, unknowingly drugging Doe’s, causing excessive tiredness. Combs suggested Doe nap on the couch; Doe awoke to Combs sodomizing him, pants down, without consent. Despite Doe’s resistance, Combs continued until ejaculation, then threatened him against reporting, claiming his fame would discredit Doe. Combs’s entourage later intimidated Doe via phone calls to silence him.
