In 2019, Plaintiff John Doe met Sean Combs at Marquee New York nightclub through a friend’s industry connections. Around midnight, Combs’s security invited Doe to an afterparty at the Park Hyatt New York hotel suite with about ten Bad Boy Records affiliates. Combs offered Doe a drugged cocktail, and after consuming half, Doe felt disoriented as Combs led guests to the bedroom. Instructed to lie on a sectional sofa, Doe lost consciousness, awoke naked to Combs sodomizing him without consent, and saw two others recording the assault. Doe briefly resisted, lost consciousness again, and awoke the next morning to find the pair on the bed; one handed him $2,500 from Combs. Fearful and humiliated, Doe kept silent until filing this complaint.
