Jauhara Jeffries v. Tremaine Neverson et al.

On January 1, 2018, Jauhara Jeffries attended a New Year's Eve party at Sean Combs' home on Star Island, Miami-Dade County, Florida, arriving around 1:45 AM. She stayed for 1.5-2 hours before leaving at approximately 4:00 AM. Tremaine Neverson (Trey Songz), appearing intoxicated, offered Jeffries and her friends a ride to E11even Nightclub, driven by his security team. At E11even, Songz invited Jeffries to his VIP table with bottle service, where he continued drinking. While Jeffries danced on a couch, Songz allegedly inserted his fingers into her vagina without consent. Another woman reported a similar assault. Shocked, Jeffries sat down, and Songz ordered the group to eat chicken wings to 'sober up' before demanding everyone leave his VIP section and the club. In Songz’s security-driven vehicle, Jeffries, seated in the middle, began recording Songz for safety. Enraged, Songz attempted to take her phone, and when she refused, he and a security member (John Doe) forcibly removed her from the vehicle, pushing her onto the street, throwing water in her face, and causing scrapes on her legs. Jeffries alleges Songz’s intoxication, facilitated by Combs and E11even serving alcohol to a known substance abuser, contributed to the assault, battery, and false imprisonment.

Plaintiff seeks damages exceeding $20,000,000, including medical expenses, lost wages, loss of enjoyment of life, emotional distress, punitive damages, and other damages under applicable law. Plaintiff also requests attorney fees pursuant to Fl. Stat. §57.105 and a jury trial.
