Joseph v. Combs

In early April 2015, Joseph Manzaro was allegedly drugged and abducted from his West Palm Beach, Florida residence after touching a greasy substance on his door handle, causing unconsciousness. Transported by Eric Mejias and Bony Rivera, he awoke in a vehicle where Mejias admitted administering Scopolamine. At Mejias’ Deerfield Beach residence, Joseph witnessed a drug transaction involving cocaine and methamphetamine, coordinated by Brendan Paul, who stated Diddy wanted Joseph at a 'freak-off' event. Taken to Star Island, Miami, Joseph was forcibly identified at a security booth and dragged into the Estefan Mansion, where Gloria Estefan’s call for an ambulance was silenced by Emilio Estefan. Transferred via a concealed tunnel to Diddy’s mansion, Joseph was stripped, dressed in a thong bikini and a black leather mask with a locking sex device, and sexually assaulted under Diddy’s orders, facilitated by Adria English, who identified as Diddy’s 'Sexual Assistant.' Post-assault, Joseph was beaten at a gang house, suffering permanent groin damage and inguinal hernias, and left for dead. Over years, Mejias issued death threats, blamed Joseph for Rivera’s suicide, and threatened his minor son, with surveillance footage confirming trespassing and a hitman’s presence near Joseph’s property. The defendants allegedly conspired to intimidate and silence Joseph, obstructing justice through threats and evidence suppression until at least 2021.

Plaintiff seeks compensatory damages for physical, emotional, and psychological injuries, pain and suffering, medical expenses, lost earnings, and loss of enjoyment of life; punitive damages to punish defendants and deter future misconduct; treble damages under RICO and witness tampering statutes; a permanent injunction to prevent defendants from threatening, harassing, intimidating, or destroying evidence; reasonable attorneys’ fees, expert witness fees, and litigation costs; and other equitable relief deemed just by the court.

The court granted Defendant Estefan’s Motion for Sanctions in part, imposed sanctions against Attorney Travis Walker for filing a frivolous Amended Complaint, and closed the case. The Amended Complaint was dismissed as a shotgun pleading on July 24, 2025. Attorney Walker was ordered to pay a fine of $7,500 to the court for failing to conduct a sufficient pre-suit investigation under Federal Rule 11. No sanctions were imposed on the pro se Plaintiff, and all pending motions were denied as moot.
